Well there was a Starcraft Ghost that lingered in development for like half a decade before being officially canned. That could at least explain the FPS rumors.

I believe that's "The game is on facebook as a platform" like Farmville. Not having a personal facebook account.

WRE: No, others have certainly done similar things, but Apple really seems to be embracing it harder than anyone else, and riding it straight to the bank for all it's worth.

And I'm waiting for Flash or multi-tasking to be available on the iPad, via the app store, for $4.99.

Of course iPod and iPad versions won't be made so they can be optimized on both with one version. Then you'd only have to buy one copy of the game!

This is Apple and their micropayment goldmine, they want you buying as many copies of the same thing as possible. And they'll strip as much base-level functionality out of their products and charge you for an app for it as they can get away with.

I was hoping for another SHOGO. I loved that FPS.

Bayonetta just kinda made up their own garbled plot.

Darksiders plays heavily off Christian mythology, much more likely to offend any strict Jews/Christians/Islamics.

Is a UAE customs or police officer actually going to know at a glance if the game you're carrying happens to be "banned"? Seems like a kinda silly thing to even try in this day and age. It's a consumer level product, globally available. People are going to get it if they want it.
