-after killing Golamag, there is a wall/barrier of fire with holes in it. Basically a wall of molten lava...it is Molten Core, after all.

One of us would go by the fire (not in it) and start jumping around.

As if by magic, our promise to see the last boss was sooo powerful any new person would scamper over to where their fellow raider was jumping and promptly jump right into the fire...

and quickly die.

If they laughed after getting rezzed, they were usually in the guild without further ado.

Same boat as other readers, i beta'd Wow and loved it. I played for 3 years. I also beta'd Tabula Rasa, Matrix Online and Guild Wars...I say that I was happy that I got into beta for those 3 since I quickly realized that these products were not for me...long term.

A beta test must be a double edged sword for developers. On one hand you want to hype and/or test your game, but on the other, you risk losing a good portion of potential buyers if it's not up to scratch.

Only Dr.Who could solve such a paradox!
