Atlus officially announces Yggdra Union [Update]

Maybe I would've been disappointed with the graphics, if it wasn't for the fact that this was originally designed for GBA. The graphics look alright to me.

Crisis Core is not the end of the FFVII compilation

Mar 21st 2008 4:37PM (Joystiq Playstation)
There needs to be some sort of sequel, whether it be a new Vincent game, a new rpg or even a new movie. There needs to be closure in the FF7 world, and I don't believe most of the compilations titles have truly provided that feeling. In the ending of AC, Seph says something like "I will not be just a memory". In CC, we have Genesis's character developed. Finally, there's the secret ending in DoC, which pretty much shows that a sequel is required.

I agree with Saturn. I'm fearfull that more spinoffs, sequels, or sequels to spinoffs will only hurt FF7's reputation, and make the story convoluted. Which I think might be a problem it has right now. Hopefully Crisis Core will put my fears to rest.

Crisis Core is not the end of the FFVII compilation

Hopefully the finale will be a rpg sequel. To me, that just seems like the respectable way to end the FF7 story. I don't want a sequel to Dirge. If they do decide to make an rpg, it would need to have turn-based battle system. Although, they could use a real-time battle system, and have you control all the different characters individually. Imagine playing DMC, except you're controlling Clould!

I don't really care for a FF7 sequel, unless it has some serious new content. A remake is inevitable though.

Sounds good. Hopefully the controls won't be a serious issue for me.

"WKS Portable"

That would be sweet.

The graphics look awesome, they even look like they might be better than CC's.

New PSP coming in September

@Georgio

FPS DON'T fail massivly. Syphon Filter: DM, SOCOM FTB1 & 2 both got great reviews, even MOH: Heroes got a good review. So NONE of those aforementioned games failed. I don't find the controls to be an issue, it just takes a while to get use to them. I hate using the ds's touch screen *ugh*, but then again I hate using pda touch screens as well. Also, only an idiot would expect Sony to include two nubs, which would exclude 24+ million original psp owners from the new games utilizing them.

All I wanted was a clamshell design, and internal some internal flash memory. I might still get this though.
