@xHaldirx I think that the more that companies fight the piracy the more people jump on the hack/jailbreaking. I have a feeling that if Microsoft did what Sony does with constant firmware updates, disabling features to prevent security issues that more people would be pirating games on the 360. I know back when you could softmod an original Xbox I only learned that you could do it after I was surfing on the internet and gaming sites.

My point is that fighting it only puts the issue in the public eye and seems to cause more damage than good in my opinion than if they just said "meh" and took the marginal hit in lost sales. The more companies push the more the people will push back it seems.

I thought that the "key" was exposed? I was under the impression that this "key" was needed to run anything on the system, which should include the software process that sends info to the servers. Does anything I'm saying make sense to anyone?

Or is the key initiated after the hardcoded boot processes?

What we as gamers tend to forget more often than not is that there are always new gamers coming to the table. For those people who just now got an Xbox 360 for Christmas this bundle will be nice for those who have wanted to play the series. You could buy both games used for less than the retail of $30 for this package, but I think the value is in the DLC that is (I assume they put it in there, it would be stupid if they didn't) included with this.

I know I've had to step back a few times from my initial reaction of "wtf?" to an announced bundle but then I figure that it's more for the new guys than me.

I got some new games because I am, of course, a die hard gamer. And if I could get that sweet new Xbox I would be die hard thankful!

@MrXBob They didn't boast about the PS3 as much as they did with the PS2. I remember that when it was revealed they said that the PS2 could render Toy Story in real-time.
