Well Microsoft should have your reburbished 360 back in your hands by the time the update is released. ;)
Waiting several months to play ONE game is a lot better than waiting 2-6 weeks to play any game. Just my opinion though and since this is joystiq, I know it is wrong wrong wrong to voice an honest opinion. Logic checked out years ago and the Flame god of Kalton rules here now.
You get lost in the mess with more than 16 people? I'm sorry, but that is the lamest excuse I have ever heard. There is nothing like a well oiled group of 10 people who take the point with mixed classes while you have a group of 6 who play excellent D. You can steamroll a group of incompetents in about 3-4 minutes.
Large scale battles are great because the charges, feints and ambushes win the day. If these concepts are alien to you then I understand why you like low pop servers.
Okay - all Internet jabbing aside, I personally think you are just a little jealous that the 360 cannot handle this number of people because of their infrastructure setup. XBL has many many other great features about it but just because it loses in this area doesn't mean you have to always spit on other innovations. You really should push that chip off your shoulder.
I take it you don't own a 360 or a PS3 based on that moronic statement.
Both the 360 and the PS3 have had more than 1 great exclusive title on their consoles EVERY year. Your comments litter this forum like the garbage in our major cities. Please stop.
lol - I thought the "nail meet coffin" comments died a long time ago. The same people who thought HD-DVD would win out over BRD are also the same people who think that the PS3 will simply disappear. You people have a short memory, are woefully uneducated and are an embarrassment to your country.
>> How about they add built-in Wi-Fi or something?
Because if they did that would make the 360 a console that uses current generation technology and people don't want that. What people want is the "choice" to have whatever they want in their console.
They don't want built-in Wifi because we are 2008 and Wifi isn't widespread (according to the 360/MS crowd). If you want Wifi, then you have the choice to go out and spend an extra $100 to get it.
People also did not want HDMI in their consoles because it wasn't important to them. When they did decide it was important, they were happy the 1.2 spec and not the current 1.3
People want the choice to overpay for a 120GB HD.
They also don't want the industry standard known as Bluetooth. It's a horrible idea to use industry standards because then you have to compete with the rest of the market and we all know that is not good for profit.
That guy in the background who kept on trying to be some video game coach reminded me of the days of the arcade where the the guy who sucks kept on telling others how to do it right. Those who can do, those that can't try to teach.
