That's funny that they decided to publish a game after the book. I was on a train travelling across Germany over the summer when I noticed the woman across from me was reading this book. The cover and title alone grabbed my attention so I made a note to write it down and look it up when I got back to NY and sure enough it's not in English yet, but when I saw they were creating a game I got excited.

Looks a bit like Stalker, but with a bit more action.

Yeah, myself and about 900 others. Perhaps I'll have to relive my fun by driving my forklift around in circles for hours at a time.

Steam, what a bunch of thieves, honestly.

They think they are so smart, releasing these titles at steeply discounted prices like $2 while all of these other blockbuster titles are being released (Ex. Mass Effect 2), FULL KNOWING that I have little to no time to even finish the blockbusters.

So truth of the matter is that I purchase these $2 excellent classics, and my collection of them grows before I even get to finish the games that I have! Damn you steam and your plan to take over the gaming world, one deal at a time....

Half of those games are already on 360. And one of the best up-converting players? It doesn't up-convert crap unless you use HDMI.

What online experience? Yeah, it's free. That's great. But NOBODY plays online, and the few that do don't even have headsets to speak with as a standard. I went through this bad experience when trying to play R6 Vegas online. I'd rather pay $7 a month to have fast service with match making, a great buddy list/msg system, and everyone has a headset to communicate, along with plenty of people to play with online.

Are they TRYING to go down the drain this generation?

Well as someone who currently owns two 360's (One for myself, and one for my brother) AND a PS3 I can play both sides.

No BC? C'mon Sony. If you aren't going to give us any games worth playing (that aren't MULTI-platform already) then atleast give me the ability to play PS2 games that are worth my time.

I really don't think Next-gen video formats will play too strong of a role in this generation of consoles, but I could be wrong. Just as games have done in the past, if the game doesn't fit correctly onto one disc - you create more.

Truth of the matter is Xbox 360 (Despite its flaws) is delivering right NOW, and that's what gamers want. We are not too concerned that our console won't reach it's potential for another five years (See article post a number of weeks ago on this page). By that time one console or another will have such a strong hold of the market and a lead that the full potential of the other will not matter.

For the time being, my PS3 is really just a sleek and sexy black machine that serves as a media-streaming device in my living room.
