Oblivion: Xbox 360 vs. PC
Mar 13th 2006 2:34PM (Joystiq)I specifically built a huge monster PC (2*Geforce 7800 GTX Sli, AMD FX57, 2GB RAM, 2*10K RPM 75GB Raptors, etc), to be able to output everything in 1080P resolution (1920*1080 progressive scan) on my HP 65" TV, and now I find out that Oblivion is going to be gimped to XBox 360 resolutions and graphic settings.
I'll be the first to admit that I spent SIGNIFICANTLY more than I would have on an XBox 360, but you'd think that the developers would give us high-end PC owners the ability to bump the graphics up to obscene levels.
Meh - I'll probably still buy it though!
