No reason? I'll give a potential one...

First off though, I enjoyed the first game and got all 120 stars (no I did not play through as Luigi).

With that being said, after watching the trailer, what's with the text bubbles still? What year is this? This game is going to make an insane amount of money; can't they spend a few bucks more in development for once and at least make a game that has decent production values? (I'm talking for presentation and cutscenes and not levels or gameplay obviously)

Why don't these guys take a day off and play something like one of the new Ratchet & Clank games. Those scenes inbetween the levels are almost at a Pixar level! Obvisouly the fidelity wouldn't be there but could you IMAGINE how much better SMG2 would be if the fun wasn't just seeing the next level but also looking forward to what happens inbetween them?

Remember the story book crap from the last one? Ugh...

The thing you fail to understand is an exploit is an exploit and if an exploit can be found in the backwards compatibility chip, they will "fix" it.

I am a launch PS3 customer. I have not and probably never will have used the "Other OS" option. This still ticks me off that they can remove a feature this big though. If backwards compatibility at somepoint in the future becomes a security hole, that means they can issue a firmware update to block that too. That is BS.

Man does remind me of the N64 days. At first glance I thought it was Diddy Kong Racing.

Whatever brand console a previous title was on is the weakest argument I've ever heard for buying a game. Fudge it, I'm just going to stick with Crystal Chronicles on the Wii since I played the original FFs on the NES and SNES.

I was thinking the same. I think the recent PS3 bug and what it did to my Uncharted 2 progress decided it for me...

And some people think Borderlands is boring. This whole "opinion" and "personal taste" thing is getting out of hand!

Let's pretend that within the next few weeks it surpasses 2 million SOLD. Then what will your response be? Will you come back out from under the bridge with some other lame comment?
