The nurburgring panamera hosted a lot of over the top options that you wouldn't likely see on a regular panamera turbo. Carbon ceramic brakes option is extremely costly and is actually worse than regular brakes in normal street conditions. The price of the panamera that did the nurburgring runs is around 3 times the cost of the cts-v. Panamera is mechanically superior to the caddy (pdk, awd, turbo) but you will pay a huge premium to achieve better numbers.

I'm sorry but the first corvette ZR1 in the middle east has been here ever since they first started getting sold in the states. its been in a showroom in Abu Dhabi with an asking price of $190k so no one bought it cuz of the "who would pay $190k for an american car?" mentality.

In addition, the Corvette U.A.E Club had a gathering on the 16th of January with around 55 corvettes including the first ZR1 in the UAE with license plates and driving around.

I agree with everything you said.
I own a blackberry bold and my friend owns the new curve, its like using the exact same phone only one is smaller and packs a bigger punch while maintaining a longer battery life. Still doesn't mean the bold is bad, its just that the curve is a better deal technically.

A Nissan patrol plus the mods and everything shouldn't cost you more than 125k. I've seen a lot of 1000hp + nissans here since my brother tunes them.

the nissan patrol was never an SUV, its considered a full on off-roach 4x4 vehicle here in the middle east. that 6cyl 4.8 engine can hit up to 1,000 horses and still take a beating. and now we get this.
