Study: 60% of Teens Drive While Texting, Despite Knowing Dangers

May 24th 2009 11:55PM (Switched)
First of all, i think doing anything while driving is a bad idea, the phone is worse though. You all complain but ive seen people put on socks while driving. Also that "your brain wont develop untill youre 25" Excuse me, but most people in jail are over 30 i guess you havent done your research. Obviously your judgment hasnt fully developed because your wise crack self things youre better then every one else. Im happy that much like how the whites used to treat blacks you think youre better then every one based on age. Again amazing society we have.

TBH back when this was planned for the ps3 capcom confirmed they would be making sure the release for japan and NA would be as close to a universal release as they could make it (like RE5) not so sure how this statements holding up, but with capcom doing what they did with re im thinking theyll do it, but this is the part thats developing MH, and with no official date for united yet who knows, but seeing people fire off really uneducated guesses here is really re tar tar, hope people learn to actually read articles and not just put their 2 cents out there.

'Sexting' Teenagers Charged With Child Pornography

Jan 14th 2009 11:40PM (Switched)
Welcome to america, where the youth have no rights but at the same age they can go die for their country, WELCOME to the rights we have fought for. Ha what a joke, this country is slag and youre all deer, walking fodder for a idiot based government. "Children" ohh scary, should have rights just like every one else. But thats the glory, see in england they got it right. Kids live by themselves at 16 and theres alot less problems. Here we baby your children and oh no thats wrong you cant do that. Pleas ehalf these parents were making pornos when they were these kids age get the f out, all i have to say is welcome to america home of the hyporcatic where if you do what i do you are persecuted and it glorifies the hatred people have festering deep in. As we all know bosses are total dips but the most hailed in a company. This is the future youve given your children. Quite a future indeed.

'Meanest Mom on the Planet' sells son's car

Jan 11th 2008 12:15AM (ParentDish)
I agree, but respect should be a guideline for any parent/child equation. Parents act justified but not all of them are so clean themselves. Ive known alot of older individuals with drug problems. People never consider themselves wrong; especially if their current position requires them not too.

'Meanest Mom on the Planet' sells son's car

Jan 11th 2008 12:13AM (ParentDish)
Interesting story, i believe she had a right to make the ad but actually sell it? Not so sure, especially if her son is 19 if that was his age. Ive read alot of the parents comments on here, understand where theyre coming from but from my own view ill try to best address this. As a 19 year old male living in america i can understand why parents get what they call "disrespect" or "resent" from their children, being on the other side of the fence let me tell you whats wrong with the issue here. Children will never listen to you if you say "dont do that". They cant relate. If you explain why you feel that way youre be alot better off getting a positive response or the one you like. Me and my mother are very close, we've always been. Shes set down her own laws when i was growing up. But you see shes always let me know why and her own reasons. American parents these days are out of the box. Theyre worse then the ones during the 50s. Controlling your children does nothing more then make them dependant, lazy and angry with you and many other things. You learn things from experiencing them. And i know the legal age thing for drinking. But think of it like this, is the law just when i can go to war and die at that age. Here is why the drinking age is 21. You have a huge population amount between 18-21. You see if you cut the people there, who are the ones who crash the most from drug influence, mostly alcohol in this situation. You remove a large amount of people, especially who are in the catagory i just explained. its much like the laws that will happen soon with the elderly driving. However in light of all this i believe the best way for things to be kosher between parents and their children is raise them like the british do. Its good to help your kids but make sure they can provide for their own while theyre up and rising, otherwise they lose alot of experience they could of had. Too many parents look at their kids like property, like a pet. "You do this, my house my rules". It should be more like. "Why do you feel the way you do, lets talk about it". "Yeah i did that as a kid too thats why my experience with it is negative". Any way i wish the parents out there luck. I too one day will be raising my own, hopefully ill do a good job with what i already know.
