Maybe they are re-openening the beta for two days over the weekend, for all crackdown owners, just to get us a tiny bit more hyped up... bcoz that would be the perfect start to my uni holidays... lol

the thing that seems to suck is that there are only acheivements for 9 different levels.... that bites. hopefully they will be long! i always end up playing the halo campaign at least as much as i do the multi... since i play it co-op with friends at the beach house, and 56k+multiplayer dont work too well

there are adds on your media section? there are adds anywhere apart from that little box that shows them on the xbox live little box thing? wow,i didnt even realise :-P i migrated my box aswell from old xbox live, so i just assumed everyones was the same.... lol, learn somethin every day

yeah but its also linux.... so prob not so much of a problem as you think. although wether its enough of an implentation of full linux to get the security benefits is arguable

yeah ditto to the comment above... besides with all the news thats been coming out recently, it seems as if they are much further along the development schedule than i think a lot of people think. All the stuff that has been coming out seems like they are ramping up for a sooner release date. although it could just be because they want to fuck with the ps3/wii launch..... but we can hope

you've always been able to see the battery status of your wireless controller, it was on the xbox guide thing in the top right hand corner.... dont know if maybe you mean battery life as in how long it will last in a time estimate, i havent checked my 360 for it. But its had the little battery indicator with the 3 bars for as long as i can remember. but im looking forward to getting a wireless headset, specially since from memory ill be able to use it with my phone aswell can't i? probably get it with G.O.W
