Yeah, that's 12:01 AM though, as in 1:41 min from now, and about 12 hrs before the game arrives from UPS...

This sucks. I pre-ordered this game months ago, whenever it was first available on amazon, and it wont be arriving till tomorrow so I can't get this CD... Wish they would have just bundled it with preorders...

OMG yes! I've been waiting for this ever since GOG launched, I created a account with them in the first week mostly just to request this game. I kept considering picking it up from amazon but the combination of it using 4 discs while my laptop doesn't even have a disc drive and not being sure if it would run on a modern OS stopped me.

I played the hell out of the demo back when it was new, can't wait to jump into it again!

I want this game so bad but haven't pre-ordered yet because I can't decide if I want the 360 or PS3 version!

360 Pros: Better controller(IMO) and access to XBL while playing so I can talk with friends in parties.

PS3 Pros: 1 Disc, wont have to swap Dead Rising 2 out of my 360 when I want to play, XBL friends wont message me to play something else mid game, save 360 HDD space (running a bit low but can delete some older games I'm not playing).

I usually give a slight edge to 360 for controller and Live, but the HDD space and 2 disc balances that out in this one. I wonder if there's any GFX issues with either or which the load times are better...

Glad to see this actually releasing, unfortunately I can't pick this up. I wish Nintendo would drop a DSiWare adapter for DS Lite owners. With the 3DS just around the corner I really can't justify the upgrade price to a DSi. Hopefully the 3DS is DSiWare backwards compatible. This will be a day one purchase for me if it is. Now, they just need to rerelease the original again in some sort of affordable manner... [Hopes for 3DS Virtual Handheld service]

God, does anyone else hate CVG's video player as much as I do, it's so ridiculously broken, doesn't let you nav back in the last page if you click View in HD, and never shows the video in the correct aspect ratio! I wants it dead and off the internet!

Anyway, on the OT, this is the game I'm looking forward to the most for the rest of the year pretty much, can't wait for some classic-like Metroid action.

I would prefer that they kept it a 2D scroller and had 8 way aiming like in the old titles, but this system looks smooth too, can't wait to try it out. ^_^
