The question is what good is there support. First time I had to send the machine in was because when I would turn on my ps3 all I would get it a black screen with a white bar on the top. Phoned up sony support and basically explained the problem. asked if there was anything i could do to fix it and they respond no you have to send it in. I was ok with sending it in. The only ehing is they wanted the receipt sent with the machine. Which in my opinion is BS why should I have to send in the receipt when I registered the machine when I bought it. in addition it was an 80 gig model which hadnt even been out for a year prooving that it would automatically be under warenty. Luckly I still had the receipt for it I just think its BS that you must have it to claim warrenty. Anyways after I sent the machine in I looked up in forums and found out that I could have fixed the issue myself by just formating the hard drive. IT appears quite a few people had the exact same issue om just glad i kept the receipt can you imagine paying $150 for a format. Thats worse then taking your computer into a shop to have the drive formated.

No the console is clean. You can hear the disc trying to eject it just wont eject. Looking through forums a lot of people seem to have the same issue. Even if the button was dirty I still would be able to eject it through the main menu. Im just really not happy because I sunk almost 600 into the machine when I bought it for my family and a year later they want another 150 bucks.

Wheres the guide on how to treat your customer with respect. My ps3 wont eject the discs anymore. Only thing its good for is watching the the movie Preditor because thats whats stuck in it. The machine was an xmas gift for the family last year and it died 2 days before xmas. The thing is the machine was bought a couple weeks before xmas and then was wrapped and put under the tree. They go by the date on the receipt so now they want $150 to get it fixed. Sad thing is this is the second time the machine will have gone back to them.

Thanks, Hymas. I tried that and its a no go. Most of the posts said to power it off and on holding the eject button. I had tried doing it from the menu and no luck. Its funny can hear it trying to eject just it wont do it. Im not to happy about this this is the second time ill have had to send the machine in. I dont really want to open it up myself because knowing sony they will charge me $150 then say they wont fix it cuz the machine has been opened. So far all my calls with them have been extremly painfull. After this I know im not recomending the machine to friends. looking up in forums it sounds like a lot of people are having this issue.

Does anyone know how to fix a ps3 which had a dvd stuck in it. I called sony and they want 150 bucks to fix it. This is the second time this machine has busted on me and its just over the year mark. Any info would be much appriciated. If not I guess all my ps3 is good for is watching Preditor on blu ray since thats whats stuck inside.

Ill Give them to my dad, he will want to return it since he returns everything I get him anyways. So in the end ill be really getting them all.

My opinion is to basically do modern Warfare in the states. Basically just take the story line from the movie red dawn.
