There's some very heated arguments presented here (and elsewhere) about the importance of Japan as a market share (mainly from the Sony fanbois..) Why is Europe ignored? Europe has almost twice the cumulative shipments of PS2, almost equaling USA. Together USA and Europe make 80% of all sold PS2's. (numbers from sony's own PR)
