I dont see why people are bashing this. If I am forking over 500 or 600 for PS3, they better put in as much as humanly possible. I bought a PS2 and put them where they are now so they better make BC a priority since I could play through MGS even today. If they could get some upscaling and AA...things would be pretty nice.

You guys are getting too worked up about something that is hardly final and months from even reaching consumers. I remember the 360 at E3 '05 with J. Allard playing Kameo which looked like a Gamecube game that was barely running stable. Then you see 360 at launch and it was like a whole different console with last minute changes like the 40GB HDD being changed to 20GB. PR guys are always going to talk about things that dont even really matter to me, a guy who just wants to use a console. I just have to wait and see what the PS3 will actually be and I am kind of glad games like Resistance and Heavenly Sword are already running the way they are. Also, with the price revealed so much time from launch I can save up money easily unlike the 360 which kind of cut it close but I still made it.

Thats a pretty good looking list considering 360 had Gun and Tony Hawk which were just 360-playable Xbox games you paid extra for (in terms of next-gen quality). Oblivion was delayed for months and DOA4 took till new years. All the EA games were lacking essential things that were in the current-gen versions. I can only hope Wii and PS3 launch games will be better than that and nothing big gets delayed like Oblivion did.

Lets hope the procrastinators learned nothing from the 360 and it will be easy going pre-ordering PS3 tomorrow at EB(if they let you) and also pick up MGS3: Subsistence
