Rumor: 2K Games Boston avoiding PS3 for next title

Nov 21st 2007 2:37PM (Engadget)This isn't being an early adopter (something I always accept when I buy early) it's about being messed around and lied to over contracts spanning 18 months.
Personally I don't believe this to be true but if it is then I won't trust Apple anymore and won't be using their products again.
Vodafone to have exclusive rights to 3G iPhone in Q1?
Nov 20th 2007 3:32PM (Engadget)I've been pushed into a contract with O2 which I wasn't happy with but I accepted, if this rumor is true then Vodafone and not O2 will be getting the 3G model. I don't NEED 3G at all, it would be nice but I'm near wifi a lot so it really isn't a problem for me but I've just cancelled my Vodafone contract and moved over to O2 and was then messed around by O2 when it came to buying the phone.
I wasn't happy about moving contract and felt that it was a even bigger mistake to make over here than it was in the US but I love my Apple products and changed over to O2. If it turns out that I could have stayed out of a contract with O2 and just waited a few months for a better model then I will feel very very messed around (and almost lied to) by Apple and O2 and I will be selling my Apple products and moving over full time to Linux.
Like I said above, I use Apple because I want to not because I have to.
I'll wait and see how much fact is in this rumor but I hope that it's nothing more than that.

Oct 24th 2007 10:47PM (Joystiq Playstation)The image of the Cathedral (which Sony confirmed IS the one in the game, not just one like it) is also protected by British law because of the rebuilding that had to be done after terrorist attacks which leads me back on to this following point again...
...As a gamer and a FPS fan I do not like the violence flag being waved by Jack Thompson and his followers but this has nothing to do with him, this is about a building that is privately owned and was used without permission. A building that is exposed not only to rising young person gun crime but also WW2 BOMBS and a TERRORIST attack some time ago.
I'm sure you don't like my world Consolcwby but in my world I try and see both sides of a problem and even as a long time gamer I can understand why they wouldn't want their building as a place for more violence (real or not) and at the very least Sony should have asked permission.
Church of England forgives Sony for Resistance
Oct 24th 2007 6:02PM (Joystiq Playstation)It's the same old story with us gamers, as soon as someone raises an issue with a game we just throw our rattles out of our prams and cry "teh manz is trying 2 take awayz our gamez!!!one!1", completely ignoring any back facts or story.
Again, can someone tell my why Vegas should be respected because of money and trademark in a 3D world but a Church in a city with a gun problem shouldn't?
Church of England forgives Sony for Resistance
Oct 24th 2007 2:31PM (Joystiq Playstation)It would seem many people need to stop throwing random crap at the Church of England (like post 4, I think you mean the catholic Church which has nothing to do with the Church of England) and take a quick read of the facts as to why they got upset about the game, they are not evil Christians trying to stop you playing any computer games ever.
