@15 "The backlash of the boomerang was necessary. That was definitely one of the most horrible controllers ever created."
You don't really know that, because you never used the controller. Sure, it didn't look too pretty to most people, but then again, who cares? If it's functional and doesn't make your hand hurt after 10 minutes of using it (which is something you (and I) don't know, 'cause it wasn't released), then it's a good controller.
@24 "Actually Bryan, we are playing Ninty Nine Nights another 360 exclusive that just came out today. So take your smart ass comments somewhere else thank you!" (Bryan's comment - "the only decent game on the 360(that isnt on PC).")
See, but you missed the part where Bryan said "decent" game. NNN is an Xbox exclusive, yes, but it only gets points if it's a decent game, and it's mediocre at best.
"Backcompat, please people, I have a 360 and I haven't touched Halo 2 for months, no one likes to use this gen games on next gen systems even if they are good, you cant expect people to use their PS2 games on their PS3..."
You're kidding, right? I play Xbox games on my 360 all the time. Why? Because they're good games. When the PS2 game out I still played PS1 games (still do occasionally). Why? Becaues they're good games. Just because they're not "next-gen" doesn't make them suck. If you stop playing current gen games as soon as something new comes out then you're missing out.
@17 I played every FF when it came out, and I still maintain FF7 is the best, so that wrecks your theory about that =P
As for FFXIII, I just hope it's good. I was horribly disappointed with 8, 9 was decent, and 10 and 10-2 were pretty much just crap. 11 doesn't count (should have been FFOnline), and the demo of 12 made it seem like it could be decent, or could just suck. Here's hoping they're finally turning the series around to be good again.
""one million units per month [after launch; sorry for any confusion this may have caused] with a total of six million units in 2006 alone." Uh, does this math make sense to anyone else? There's November and December...times one...equals six?"
End of 2006 Fiscal Year, which gives Oct ('cause they've gotta have some BEFORE launch), Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, and Mar -> 6 * 1,000,000 = 6,000,000
