If the phones are not activated in the store or the phone is not paired in some way to the buyer at the time of purchase, then eBay is going to get flooded with iPhones. I sure hope Apple can provide such overwhelming supply in the initial days and weeks that the market is deflated on sites like eBay. No one should have to spend more than $599 on an iPhone.

@Suneet, Your #6 basically undermines most your criticism. You gush over the hologram feature! Then, in #7, you inexplicably disregard the idea of Web Clips, which gives you as many widgets as you can create yourself - not just limited to what developers create.

I think you're spoiled and need to spend a month exclusively on Vista as punishment.

What's with the obsession with visualizers? Just buy an Apple TV and enjoy the functionality. It's like refusing to buy a fantastic car because it doesn't come with Hello Kitty stickers.

It is obvious that Congress needs to formulate a bill that bans any sort of public gathering for the pursuit of fun that offends someone like Catt. In "Catt's Bill", all Americans will be legally required to live and be as miserable as the most miserable person on the planet. You will not be allowed to be happy or have fun or you will face prison time.

Unfortunately, this whole scenario will have the unforeseen consequence of making Catt very happy, and thus, she will be thrown in jail as a result.

If you see the "front-runner" abruptly start falling in the standings (or any other application make sudden moves) you'll know why.

Ken C, the current standings are color-coded. You do not know which app concept is associated with each color. Dan gave away the front-runner. Phil intended for the final round to be more fair than previous rounds by not letting the voters know the standings while voting is ongoing.

I'm questioning the fairness of divulging that information so soon in the voting process.

Steven, you should try smart playlists. You can specify which genres you do *not* want to have, then put that playlist on your iPod. My iTunes library has tons of stuff that my wife listens to that I never want to listen to. Smart playlists keep her stuff at bay, even though we share the same library.

Compare the (lack of) nuisance of a DS-Lite with Opera DS versus the nuisance of a laptop while you travel. DS+Opera wins.
