Minigames FTW! The Wii is God's greatest loke on gamers. Everyone loves to tout the thing, but how many of you actually play the crap minigames, and if you do how long until you get bored?
This is a game not a movie. Plot and character developement? I'm so sick of people wanting games to be movies or novels. It's all about the gameplay folks...got it?
I've found that the best way to get the most accurate review these days is to take the average of a 1up and an IGN review. Has IGN ever rated a AAA game below 90?
SR is a really fun game, with lots of things to do, and lots of customization for your character and your "ride". Yesterday I assisted a drug dealer by shooting rival gangs while he was in the process of making his deals, I blew up some meth/crack labs, I did some insurance fraud, I escorted celeb's while they we're getting BJ's in the back of my car from a hooker, and I stole a bunch of vehicles for a guy at a chop shop. I also got tatted up, bought some sweet jewlery, a watch, some glasses, and a baseball cap that I had my character wear off to the side. Of course I bought some clothes too, and of course they were all purple...gotta represent
After playing through the game for close to six hours I was very pleased with most of the game, and I can't wait till I sart making some real cash so I can bling out my character and all of his rides. There were a few things I didn't like, but the good definately weighs out the bad, and I haven't even touched the multiplayer.
It looks like after 20 years of gaming I still have to kill FRIGGIN ZOMBIES!!! Look at the amazing AI on the zombies. They walk slow in a straight line right at you....How awesome is that!....woopteedoo.
Sorry, but this is going to sound like I'm an ass, and who knows maybe I am. Anyway here it goes:
The people that get the most upset about Madden being a "rehash" every year, and yet still being the top selling video game every year, are the same people that have never followed sports, played sports, or care about sports.
Having this "grudge" against Madden stems from their experiences in high school when they were the nerd in the corner of the lunchroom, and all of the jocks were getting layed and being worshipped by the "hot" chicks.
I don't want to get all Freudian on you all, but WHO THE F*** CARES IF it's a rehash!!!! People that watch sports, care about sports, and like sports video games are EXCITED by the fact that the new rosters are in. They are excited about a new passing cone, or run blocking gimmick. People that get upset about roster rehash sports games are the same people that go out and buy the new and improved MMO clickfest....My point is????? I really don't know what my point is, but I'm sure someone smarter than me will know what it is, and they can tell you all
Just so you all know I was that nerd in the corner of the lunchroom, but I was also obsessed with sports...even though I couldn't play them.
