I really hate it when people say things like "Why do people continue to buy a crappy roster update from EA?"

The reason people buy Madden is because A) It's the only football title out B) They are SPORTS FANS, and sports fans that play video games actually are EXCITED by roster updates, and gameplaye changes C) There have been many improvements to the Madden franchise over the years, but if one never actually PLAYS the game, then one may be inclined to believe that every years Madden is simply a "roster update".

I'm sorry but I am sick of all the hate that the Madden franchise gets from nerds that have never played a sport in their life. Hey I'm a nerd, and I can freely admit that, but most of you people probably haven't played a Madden title in like 5 years, and yet you can pawn it off like it's just the same game with "roster updates".....pitiful :(

DR is easily the most fun game I have played since NG perhaps. The game rules, and it just goes to show you that for whatever reason Japenese developers pwn!

The problem with PC gaing, as someone pointed out earleir, is that you MUST upgrade every 1 1/2-2 years to be able to play games on high settings. I bought a PC with 3.0ghz, 1gig of RAM, and a Radeon 9800 Pro (256meg) about 2 years ago, and it's already a middle of the road PC that can't play any of the new games on anything above medium. When I got the damn thing it was a top of the line PC (or close anyway). I bought a 360 because I was sick of upgrading so often to be able to play the games I wanted on high....I couldn't be happier with my decision.

I'm not Japanese, but my wife is, and I just came back from Japan. I did a very small poll with her brother, and some of her cousins. I saked them why they think that the 360 doesn't sell in Japan. None of the said that it was because MS is an American company, and ALL of them said it's because there are NO JRPGS (minus FFXI which is a PS2 port). None, nadda, zilch. JRPGS are what sold the PS2, and JRPGS are what is NOT selling the 360. It has nothing to do with nationalism.

And people wonder why developers/publishers don't make enough "innovative" games. It's because none of you people buy em!

I'm picking this one up today for the sole fact that I can't wait to "talk trash" with my buddies on Xbox Live.
Talking trash on the keybaord just doesn't have that same sweet feeling.
