A simple article about a company getting sued somehow gives everyone the right to come out and start bashing heads on "fanboys". I have used OSX and Windows (3.1+) and they both have their stregths and weaknesses. If either Apple or Microsoft comes out with a better solution, I am going to hop on the bandwagon. But I am not going to impose my opinions on "fan boys".
Another point, so what if Apple was the last to the table. At least they got there, and are making some pretty great steps in the right direction. These days you almost have to partner with another company to deliver a great product. Everyone does it. They can not make everything in house. SO why does it matter if Apple bought some technology for their phone.
And PDA's have been around the block and back. How is Apple copying them? I bought a Newton before I even heard of the Dell Axim 50v. And I say, what is copied? Is it cause its small and shiny? I dont see any silver buttons on my iphone. Or is it the touch feature? Everyone is using it now. Go bash on how HP copied dell if this is a valid assumption.
I really believe that sponsorship of any team (guys and girls) is almost worthless. Not trying to be mean towards any of the player ( I mean I was a hardcore Halo 2 player for a time and still play it througout the week), but Playing video games as a job doesn't seem right to me. Sure, if you go home and practice for hours and end up winning a tournament that pays off a lump sum of cash then that seems reasonable, but getting sponsorships for this seems absurd. This makes as much since to me as major league baseball and what not.
