Well yes I suppose I should have clarified, I wasn't stating that vocals hadn't been in the games prior to now, just that I'm not keen on them, especially this example. The vocals in 8 weren't exactly spectacular but I didn't mind it since it didn't sound like it was plucked straight out of a christmas number 1 chart, 9's vocals were directly related to the story with garnet having sung the tune many times throughout the game (if i'm recalling this correctly). I'll be honest, I can't remember what 10's theme was.
However, I'm sure this will grow on me to an extent, I just wish it felt like it had more relevance to the game, instead of being a national anthem for generica ;)

That lip-syncing is pretty respectable! A pleasant surprise to be sure. Shame about the music however. I may work from a trailer perspective, but that is not the final fantasy I know and love. I don't like vocals in FF themes : /
tl;dr : The article debunks the buzzwords Microsoft is using for marketing it. For example, the NVIDIA tegra graphics chip is based on tech apple used to use in the earlier iPods, before dropping it in favour of their current source. As a whole, the Zune HD is actually slower than the tech in the competition.
Again, I know the source may be biased, but it's quite detailed. Just see what you think for yourself.
I feel I should point out that a good few months back when iPhone OS 3.0 was unveiled (and allowed apps access to the music on the device) the Audiosurf Developers expressed great interest in an iPhone version, so I'm personally expecting to see that pop up earlier than the Zune version. However, at the moment I can't find the link for that, so feel free to not believe me.
You know what? I kinda failed rather badly there. I didn't even read my own quote. I think it's cause you started by talking about macs that I assumed the quote was about macs and pcs. My bad!
"It would be cool if in the future, there could be one copy of a game that runs on a console and PC as well. : ) "
Well to an extent, this already exists. Blizzard, for example, code all their games such that the disk you buy will install on both mac and pc. Hell, the mac version of WoW even has extra features such as built in video capture.
Point is it can be done. It has been done. Most just choose not to atm.

Before you say, I am well aware of the source and that some bias is probably inevitable, but I reckon a lot of it holds merit.
