Breakfast Topic: I just bought a $25 imaginary horse

Apr 19th 2010 12:10PM (WoW)
What you are referring to as meaningless idiocy is my opinion on the matter, which the author of the post was asking for, was he not? I suppose you think I shouldn't share my opinion if it isn't "nice"?

Breakfast Topic: I just bought a $25 imaginary horse

You have the right to spend your money however you want, just as it is my right to think that you're a braindead imbecile for buying an imaginary horse for 25$.

Breakfast Topic: In-Jokes

Jan 23rd 2010 9:34PM (WoW)
Back in Sunwell, at the Eredar twins, one of the mages in my guild failed to run away from the group when he got conflagrated, causing us to wipe. At that exact moment, we heard an MSN message sound in the background from him. Since that day, every time he or someone else wipes us by not running away from the group they are asked to stop chatting on MSN.

The "ledge boss" was also a recurring joke in the sunwell era in my guild, since what wiped us most on Eredar twins was someone falling from the ledge while we were carefully getting into place for the pull.

No skipping the story in the Culling of Stratholme for now

Dec 21st 2009 1:54AM (WoW)
I call bullshit on Eyonix' claim that the technology can't recognize the condition. In Halls of Stone, you can skip the Tribunal of Ages exposition by talking to Brann. Is there some kind of time traveling magic preventing it from working in Stratholme?

Know Your Lore: Saronite

Dec 16th 2009 8:54PM (WoW)
From reading all of Herald Volazj's quotes, it seems he is talking about the old gods and not the Scourge. One of the lines is "Gaze into the void. It is the perpetuity in which they dwell" which pretty much locks out the Scourge as a possibility, assuming of course that all the quotes refer to the same "they", which the other quotes seem to corroborate.

Review: Left 4 Dead 2 (Xbox 360)

Nov 20th 2009 2:12PM (Joystiq)
What kind of review is this? All it seems to be is paragraph after paragraph of ranting about the difficulty in campaign mode, no mention of versus or scavenge mode, thoughts on the new weapons, the new special infected, no thoughts on the new crescendos and finales. If you are so bad at games that don´t hold your hand, whispering soothing "there there"´s in your ear constantly and apparently so unable to write an actual, comprehensive review, maybe you should find yourself something else to do than review games. This alleged review is complete rubbish.

Massive at MI6: Blizzard is an "around game" ad success

Apr 9th 2009 9:34PM (WoW)
So, advertising a service (goldselling), that your client has taken a firm stance against, on their site and forums is considered a massive success now? interesting point of view...

Equipment Manager will not be in 3.1

Apr 3rd 2009 9:34PM (WoW)
No wonder Blizz are so slow with adding new UI features if they can't handle an equipment manager that only has the bare minimum of features to even be qualified as such. I mean, even the simplest equipment manager addon has more features than the Blizz one...

Ask a Lore Nerd: Speculative speculation, part 2

Mar 23rd 2009 11:04PM (WoW)
yes, you really can see Azeroth quite clearly from the top of BT, where you fight Illidan. Possibly from other places as well, like the courtyard maybe. I remember the night when we got up to Illidan and one raid member said on vent: "wait a second, is that Azeroth up there?" We'd had Illidan on farm for a few months, but somehow nobody noticed it until that night:P

can't find any screenie of it though, sorry.
