It's not a lame argument. Updated rosters and a few tacked-on features to make it sound fresh are not worth 50-60 dollars. Just because some morons are willing to pay it doesn't make it a fair value.
I enjoyed the first Halo, but didn't even buy the second. I just didn't feel the need. I also had no plans to buy the third. If nothing else, it just seemed like more of the same, and the hype really turns me off.
However, these ads are fantastic. I mean really good and interesting. I hope they win some awards.

Relax, 2K. No reasonable person considers this an issue. The game is fucking awesome, and at this point the only people stirring this pot are Nintendo/Sony loyalists or Xbox 360 owners who need to grow the fuck up.
