I feel the same way. A friend and I tried the demo on 360 and it was a definite meh moment. But the cheesy Resident Evil stories are just so much fun. The real problem with the demo is it kind of threw you into the action without any lead-in. I really want to give this another shot.
It's a DLC overload these days. I just dropped $20 for GTAIV, and after I get this, Prince of Persia will come out of nowhere, open my Microsoft Point Wallet, and take out another 800.
It's also important to remember that great graphics are in the eye of the beholder. Like #1 said, I could play A Link to the Past anytime because everything fit together so well.
I like that I can say games like Dragon Quest VIII, Lego Star Wars and Burnout all have great graphics, but it's all for different reasons.
I just don't think graphics should mean "realistic" which is where I think this arguement goes most of the time.
The Guardian: Ken, Ryu great for SF IV beginners
