i dread the day mine stops working too, i guess ill go to an ipod touch at that point, i dont like the 6th gens design

i intend to buy one after christmas, should i wait for the annoucement of the 2nd gen ipad? , the cameras are not a thing i care about(the ipad is not something i would take with me everywhere so i dont need a camera in it), nor facetime (i dont know anybody who has a facetime enabled device at the moment) the only thing im interested in waiting for if they increase the capacity 16gb for 499 is pricey

you know, apple should really rip on the fact that for the last 5 years the DS has been cosmetically redone so many times yet its the same damn hardware! sony too heres another ironic point, people ripped on the DSI for having a shitty camera, yet people are ripping on the fact the ipad doesnt have one! and i am boggled why the thing (ipad) needs one serioiusly! apple isnt stupid, they will put it on in the next version after all the dumbasses buy this version

why so much hate? so what if its a big ipod touch? its at the same price point as the kindle (which only does books) it does more than the kindle and the nook for the same amount of money, these will sell well i wont be getting it though, i dont have the need nor the money

im in the same boat, first i was too cheap/ticked to pay for the upgrade after upgrading my ist gen to 2.1. secondly i have heard of many issues with ist gens upgraded, thirdly the in future games may not run so good on the older iphones and ipod touches however some of the apps i want to get require 3.0

thats kinda cool, reminds me of when i used to put IR programs on my palm IIIxe to control my tv, since they had IR on them, also sending files over ir was interesting....

i intend to get dj hero eventually, i love mashups, i have almost every gutiar hero game since 3, and rockband beatles but this appeals to me more. just not thilled to pay 129 for it right now
