This episode was pretty amazing even if a bit uncomfortable to listen to.
People will probably cringe the most during the third segment, though I found the colossal naiveness of the first guest to be more disturbing (and heartwarming at the same time).
I hope that the final 3DS games will use the anti-aliasing capabilities. Unfortunately the demos apparently didn't - Kid Icarus looked as jaggy as any other DS title.
I will be buying it eventually (certainly not day one). For several reasons:
- Despite what they said on the PS3 presser - it DOES have buttons (e.g. your standard controller). - It supports unlimited number of players (so it's actually cheaper, and a one time purchase). - It doesn't require batteries (I have enough chargers as it is). - It's mostly software (so they can upgrade it and work out the kinks via patches). - It has more innovative uses (like measuring and tracking your limbs in that fitness game).
Guys! You ARE slaves of that game! I know I've been. When the world opens up in chapter 11 (ater about 40 hours!) it actually gets even more frustrating. On retrospect that game is just not good.
You used to be able to do similar things in Neverwinter Nights and Vampire: Masquerade before that, but hardly anyone did... Interesting premise though.
