Why do you think it requires constant on internet? So they can shut off the servers and screw over the legit customers when the next one comes out.

Consider yourself lucky you can pay for it. The ad on the free version makes the game completely unplayable. It'd be like an FPS having an ad covering the center 25% of the screen.

I see they haven't updated the DoA textures since the Dreamcast version.
