Dec 23rd 2011 1:59AM (Joystiq)Comparing OEM standard size HDDs to MS's is just dumb. MS's HDDs *are* absurdly priced, but a $60 1TB drive (well, they used to be before the flooding) requires you to:
1: Open case
2: Find open slot
3: Screw into open slot
4: Find SATA cable and plug in, plug in power
5: Close case
6: Format drive
360 hard drive:
Slap it in, you're done.
The 360 hard drive is better compared to external USB powered drives, not regular old hard drives. They're still overpriced, but you're exaggerating it by comparing it with something it does not remotely resemble.
