One weekend trip to Grandma's with all the stuff that went along with them and I was all for a bigger vehicle. I just question why people pay as much or more for an SUV with less cargo and passenger room. It is better off-road, which they will never use. I guess it's "cooler" or something.

I have a 2005 Odyssey and a 2011 Mustang GT. Problem solved.

In all seriousness, those who point out the Mazda5 and other smaller vehicles must not have many kids. I have two under age 6 and our Jetta wagon got small real fast and at this point I wouldn't look back at anything smaller than our Odyssey. The fact that you can remove the middle seats and put full 4x8 sheets of plywood in it is a bonus. In fact, since it's paid for, I might trade it in for the new one!

Simian speedster, good call. Autonomy has the wrong weight up there. It says 3400+. the actual 3200lbs is decent!

The mustang is in step with the m3 in almost all categories including lap time. So I'd say its more than just a straight-line car now.

Interesting concept, A for effort but it doesn't capture the early small, light BMWs enough for me. 3400lbs for a small car like that isn't that impressive. And considering the current M3 is matched (or beaten) in most performance categories by the 2011 Mustang GT, I'm guessing the 1M has a few more competitors than just a used M3.

Need pictures of the model that accompanied this new model! Had a sweet aftermarket rack.
