Demon's Souls is cruel, pitiless, and absolutely amazing. but seriously if you aren't a patient person ready to move VERY carefully through a game...don't even try this game. You won't like it, and you might even cry a bit...

actually i have to applaud sega for not "moving on" to VF6 if they're not ready to. EA would have released this game AS VF6, lol...

ok now all they have to do is rebuild Madden from the ground up....

you know, in 3 or 4 years, when you walk into Gamestop, an employee from EA will just be standing inside with a shotgun, LITERALLY robbing everyone who comes in...oh then they'll purchase the term "gimme all your money" and the exclusive rights to the shotgun, you know, so no one else can compete with them...

i'm not naive enough to believe that is actually going to sell all that many copies, the best we can hope for is that it sells enough copies to get EA's attention to the point that they make wholesale changes to the tired as hell madden engine. Buuut that probably won't happen either. as long as there continues to be an army of Madden sheep happily buying the same game every year with almost no real changes, and since EA bought their way out of competion a few years ago...we're screwed. well not really. i'm still playing all pro football 2k8, which is awesome...but you get my point.

i thought Grandia 2 was AMAZING!

and i dunno if anyone mentioned it, but Sword of the Berzerk...i just loved it to pieces. it was a little short but i played it over and over...

it's funny....remember a few years ago, when people were ready to throw dirt on Nintendo's casket, saying they should switch to just making software? wow...

this proves one thing. hardcore gamers? casual gamers? B.s. people just want FUN GAMES to play. end of story, and congrats to Nintendo. i consider myself probably more of a casual gamer now because with a career and family, i don't really have 40 hours a week to game. i mean i play gears of war and call of duty and all the "hardcore" games, but more often then not, i only have an hour or so to play. i guess that makes me a bad person, lol...congrats again!!

it always seems that people with a ton of talent also have an equal amount of trouble...

does madden suck? no, not really, definitely solid, but by now, solid isn't good enough. competition is necessary, if madden never had competitors, it may never have gotten rid of the passing windows, or gone 3-d, lol...ok im overstating, but you wait and see, now that 2k may actually sell a few copies, next year's madden will actually move past being "solid"....

lol, you could almost hear the homer simpson scream, "aaaaah!" when ea saw 2k8. its actually kinda flawed, but its equaling the scores madden is getting in its first try...ea is mostly pissed that they may actually have to do better than, " hey we let you buy a super bowl ring this year!"
