BioShock 2 PC widescreen support patch available now

Feb 23rd 2010 9:52PM (Joystiq)
Do any of you actually play with widescreen?

This problem wasn't even noticeable, and isn't really deserving of vitriol.

Ubisoft and THQ CEOs on the declining (stable?) DS market, and piracy

Because clearly the DS games have a great habit of having demos released for you to try them out, amirite?

Retro/Grade reverses time and shmup expectations on PSN

Technically it's just Guitar Hero, packaged as a shooter.

Then again, a lot of games are basic repackages of a basic formula.

This still looks mighty sweet though.

Honestly, I think you'd learn more from movies on how to operate a gun. Not necessarily use it completely properly, but enough to not be completely clueless.

I'm not sure a 9 year old's ready for the concept of recoil though. I think it would've been better to see a teenager behind the gun.

I hear boxing isn't a sport either. Or Taekwondo. Or Judo. Or Karate.

Want to sell an iPhone game? Price it $2 or less

Cheaper products sell more!

Video at 11.

What would really be noteworthy is the actual revenue for the tradeoff. It's pretty freaking obvious that a game's going to sell better if it's cheaper, but the better question to ask is what price is going to net you more moolah.

What'll you say when you finally see the Wii Vitality Sensor games?

Jul 10th 2009 1:34PM (Joystiq)
Erm, the plastic shells you mention aren't even analogous to this. They're just plastic shells and provide zero functionality to anything.

The one accessory that you mentioned with actual functionality has sold several million copies, making it anything but epic fail.

Georgia men arrested for returning 'games'

Jun 26th 2009 1:44PM (Joystiq)
Don't they even check the game once before putting it back onto the shelves? I remember that whenever I returned a video game to EBgames (very easy way of "renting" games), they always at least checked to see that the game existed.

Video: Scratch: The Ultimate DJ shows off its deck, new website

@Marmot: It doesn't move. The guy's moving the crossfaders, not the turntable.

@Sheppy: I could give fuck all about beatmania. I'm just pointing out the retarded fact that this guy and his design team spent 18 months on essentially the exact same thing that Beatmania has, and is dumb enough to call it "original".

Lol. I love how he says they spent the last 18 months coming up with something totally original... Except that the concept's already been done by Beatmania.

Technically speaking, DJ Hero's controller is the more original here, but then again, that one's also just retarded (a non-moving turntable, wut?).
