Shame on TVSquad for missing the most important clue in the episode: Hurley said he'd be honored next week by "The Human Fund," which we all know is a fake organization founded by George Costanza. That means LOST is in the same fictional universe as Seinfeld, which is in the same universe as St. Elsewhere, so we have our final answer: the whole story's really just the crazy dream of some autistic kid.

Of course, we should've seen this coming after the Nikki and Paolo debacle.

Just got around to watching Thursday's shows off the DVR. Am I the only SNL nerd who remembers the brilliantly over-the-top sketch that originated "vondruke!" as an epithet? Here's a terrible YouTube video of part of it.

I'd humbly recommend "Real Life With Married People"--while it's an indie series without TV-related corporate sponsorship, it's often about two people *watching* television. Sort of like "Mad About You" meets "Beavis & Butthead." Plus, it's short and funny.

Yeah, the original version was a puzzle and a poster and the cover of a trivia game and every Simpsons fan's computer wallpaper some years ago. Looks like you can still buy the poster on Amazon and other places.

While I like the idea of the update, and it's fun to see George Lucas, James L. Brooks, the Golem, the fake angel, etc. added to the mix... it's REALLY poorly composited. For some reason, the blob of characters from the original poster has a heavy black shadow behind it, and new characters are either partially obscured by the shadow or awkwardly placed over it. While the original looked like an overhead "photo" of a huge crowd gathered on a single inclined plane (or bleachers or something), now feet are pasted over faces, whips float in midair, etc. Just terrible execution, that really detracts from the quality of the image.
