Chromehounds claims a victim

Jul 30th 2006 2:59PM (Joystiq Xbox)
Yeah, but not everyone who's 360 works fine makes posts about it...it is just expected for them...however those who troll these message boards and have had a 360 crap out on them will def. post and complain about it. The result? We read about all the horror stories and nearly none of the normal stories. My 360 has worked fine since purchase (knock on wood. ;))

Jul 9th 2006 4:07PM (Joystiq Xbox)
Wow, finally a week with 2 (count 'em) releases! What are 360 gamers going to do? I got LOTR:BFME2 yesterday, its pretty engrossing. Mouse and keyboard be damned!

GRAW backlash: "1200 MS Points? Kiss my ass"

Jun 23rd 2006 11:11AM (Joystiq Xbox)
The Co-op missions are fun and pretty good, more new maps would have been nice instead of the re-lit bullshit...that said, I'm a sucker and bought it, maybe I shouldn't have...All in all, I'll be able to sleep tonight.

GRAW downloadable content up for 1200 MS bux

Jun 22nd 2006 11:31PM (Joystiq)
$15 ain't bad, but let's be honest, relighting maps is cool but it probably didn't take too long to do for Ubisoft...I already got bought it anyway...The Major Nelson blog was filled with "RIPOFF!" comments and such, how many of them actually bought it too? Most of them prolly.

Xbox 360 spring update bugs: got any?

Not a single problem, and I gamed for several hours straight on some GRAW last night.

La Cosa Nostra costs EA $800 mil

Mar 20th 2006 10:31AM (Joystiq Xbox)
No that IS the point, this article makes it sound like EA is 800 million dollars poorer now, which is not true, their cash reserves are not affected by stock price....

La Cosa Nostra costs EA $800 mil

Mar 19th 2006 11:39PM (Joystiq Xbox)
EA did not take a hit in in of itself, its stockholders took a hit...that means investment banks, hedge funds, individual holders, some of the top execs, etc. Now EA will have to create more shares for any needed future financings Via stock, as the value is not as high...the article is simplistically misleading.
