Weekly Webcomic Wrapup: Little Big Parody edition

May 20th 2007 4:26AM (Joystiq)
It was a close one between Dueling Analogs and Extra Life. I really like how Scott drew the 'Microsoft dream-gamer', but the footnote at the final panel at Dueling Analogs is really the thing that makes him the winner.

Nvidia: saying graphics don't matter is 'nonsense'

Feb 2nd 2007 4:46PM (Joystiq)
"the graphics seem to appeal to kiddies and aren't that impressive to the hardcore games like myself"

Sony vs Nintendo in the motion sensitive arena

Oct 28th 2006 11:05PM (Joystiq)
"Now, explain to Jr that he needs to stay within range and sight of the wiibar so that the wii can pick up his coordinates.

Nintendo is showing something that works (pointing and gestures) and extending that to something that doesnt (hiding behind couches)."

It does work.
Nintendo does not show you shooting THROUGH couches, which any moron could think of, even juniors.
They show hiding behind couches, getting up from behind it, aiming and firing, which of course works, since you're sending a signal to the Wii.
