Definitely shouldn't have left Monkey Island off this list.

Darlton (the exec producers) said that it wasn't planned from the get go. It was just supposed to be mysterious. Once the network ordered more episodes and carlton was brought on board is when they planned the arc out.

just an fyi...abrams hasn't had anything to do with writing since the first season.
