@(Unverified) See you actually could do the material. I have students who assume they do not need my class and fail. I agree students who are above the mold need to be challenged rather than being taught with the main stream. Though in my teaching experience I have seen a system of blame the teacher first or blame everyone but the kid. We live in an age where a kid has every excuse under the sun not to do anything.
Your comments reflect so many of the issues I face on a typical basis. I am a high school teacher and I have several students who regularly make that choice to tune out because I am covering similar material to the book. Then these are also the same students who can't be bothered to read the book because I can get the info somewhere else. The lack of respect for educators is kind of sickening. Even my honours students in AP will sometimes never pay attention in class or even do the assigned work or I assume not even read the textbook. The internet age has destroyed any sense of patience we may have. I will concede there are some awful and boring teachers out there but for students to just automatically reject the fundamentals of education because of its delivery style is down right arrogant.
Facts are great especially when you make them up. The US debt is around 12.8 Trillions.
I am also glad Insurance reform or via your denigratory attempt to claim this bill as some radical shift in US policy "Obamacare" as an increase in cost. If projections hold accordingly These reforms will cut the costs of some of the obligations the state would hold. Actually if we did get the "Obamacare" the right wingers feared we would actually save money. The problem is many arm chair economists only look at the micro and not the macro.
Also news flash the US national debt is actually not that bad but we do need to seriously address our budgetary practices, so if this game is made I hope you can hunt down Tax cheats like Exxon mobile who use off shore subsidiaries to evade US tax codes.
A real solution to save money is called the "defense budget" you know where we 5% of the global population account for 40% of military expenditures.
I find his odd, because I beta Wow and was bored to death. I love STO it has been the only MMO to keep my attention. Ground combat is a little weak, but space combat is brilliant. I will say the game feels a little incomplete right now but I heard there is a planned expansion soon.
