Like everyone else, I decided my money would be better spent putting gasoline in my automobile than spending gas money on a game that lets me drive around fake automobiles.

I liked the part in Three Kings when they go down in that bunker and the lights turned on and there's a bunch of luxury cars. Then Mark Wahlberg is all, "Hey, does Lexus make a convertible?" and the Kuwaitis are all, "No Lexus convertible. Only an Infiniti convertible."

I did the responsible thing and stopped gaming in college. But once I got out, I bought a PS2, a Wii, and started to make up for lost time. Now I also have a 360 and am a bit turned-off by the hardcority of the system; specifically, my pithy gamerscore with only about a fourth of the Achievements unlocked.

I hereby declare myself a mid-core gamer! I'll use that as an excuse for my fellow teammates the next time I get easily picked off in COD4.

Sure, I like following the industry, but I just don't have the time and money to sink the majority of my life into playing games.

Why bother to make a GTA movie when GTA games are bad composites of prior movies? GTA III cribbed from GoodFellas, Vice City ripped Scarface, and San Andreas riffed on Boyz N The Hood.

It's sort of the inverse of Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game. Whereas that was game -> movie -> game, this would be movie -> game -> movie.

At least it's business in front.

A few of my friends and I have an annual tradition of playing through Ocarina of Time in a day. After a few years of doing this, we all usually clear it at a leisured pace between eight and ten hours, though the first few years were mentally daunting. We still do this because it's fun, whereas this 48 hours of Zelda sounds more like pain.
