feels like an intro to an awesome Nintendo RPG...

New games this week: BioShock edition

Aug 20th 2007 9:41AM (Joystiq)
Thank god Bioshock is also getting release here in Australia this week (we get it on Friday). I can't wait to play it!

we're still waiting for Super Paper Mario (late Sept.).

Welcome to Joystiq 2.0!

To those that complain about having to constantly scroll up and down seeing replies to posts.. I wouldn't be surprised if the web developers will implement some form of "replied posts" section in each person's profile page, showing replies to any comments you've made, and a link that directs you to the post you made that was replied..

..well that's how I would do it.

Anyway, I'm glad to see some much needed design change to the joystiq website, as well as the much more cleaner/modern interface.

keep up the good work.

An actual Mario Party

I wonder who's going to be more excited about the party.. the kid, or his parents?

Neo-Geo & MSX to join Wii VC (in Japan)

Feb 23rd 2007 7:03PM (Joystiq)
Waku Waku 7 was such a fun fighting game on the Neo Geo system.

I doubt we'd see any MSX or Neo Geo loving over here in Australia... seeing that we're not getting any Turbo-Grafx loving at the moment.

Press release decoder says Wii to launch October 2

Jul 26th 2006 8:17AM (Joystiq)
If that's true, then the latest I'll be getting the Nintendo Wii in Australia is January 8th, given Nintendo's "14 week" launch plan.

Sounds good to me.

Confirmed free game with Wii pre-order down under

Jul 12th 2006 1:12AM (Joystiq)
A friend of mine who works at EB games in Australia told me that if I pre-ordered a Nintendo Wii through them, I'd get a free game too..

Though this was after I told him that I was going to pre-order one through Toys'R'Us.. heh.

Funniest Wii promotion I've seen at a game store was at Gametraders, in which they "guarantee" that you'll get a Nintendo Wii at launch... providing you pre-order.

hmmmm.. still haven't decided whether or not I'd put a Wii on pre-order or not. I did with the gamecube back in 2001/2002 (can't remember the year). I'll probably be expecting to pay the same price for it anyway ($315AU ~= $240US). I didn't get a free game though.

Does that mean we will be able to see games like this on the Revolution?

I bet we will..

Miyamoto hints at Zelda Revolution functionality

Mar 20th 2006 9:24PM (Joystiq)
I think this will be awesome, and I believe someone will create a mod-Revmote reader for the Gamecube so people can enjoy the cool features of the Revolution version without getting a Revolution..

Does anyone else thinks Rockstar's new Table Tennis game being released on the XBox360, will work brilliantly on the Revolution?.

...if only.
