Think GM. I'm sure that 1 MPG may come in handy, but why settle for 1 MPG when if you actually try, you can get as much as 20 more MPG? (ok maybe 20MPG is a little far fetched, but still.

So people will spend 40K for a midsize SUV that gets 25 MPG? A frickin CR-V gets 27 MPG! WTF? RAV-4 gets 27, too!

I just want to say: I don't know why people bitch about the Interior for the Corvette. Did you pay 72K for a decent interior, or 72K for a 505 horsepower rocket? Same could be said for the ZR-1.
