Turtle Beach's Xbox 360 Bluetooth Chat Adapter hands-on (or: One of the best things I saw at E3)

Jul 9th 2011 2:22AM (Joystiq)
They should have designed it so that you can use the play and charge kit at the same time. Yes, I know it defeats the purpose of wireless stuff, but sometimes while playing the battery starts dying. You wouldn't want to disconnect the adapter, pop out the battery, pop it back in and then reconnect the adapter all in the middle of a game right? It's just easier to connect the play and charge.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 'Annihilation' DLC coming to 360 June 28

I always read about people saying, DLC is expensive/why are they putting out new DLC so soon, etc, etc, but if you do a dollar/hr comparison it's cheaper than going to the movies.
Let's say you buy the game for $60 and all 3 DLC's for $45. That's $105. Now if you play the game for ~250 hrs (which is probably a low estimate) then you have $1 getting you ~2.4 hrs of entertainment time.
If you go to the movies, $10 for a ticket and ~2 hrs for the movie. So you have $1 getting you ~0.2 hrs of entertainment.
That's a pretty big difference.
Of course you always have the option of not going to the movies. :p

It's really not that bad reading on a cellphone. I've read about 10 full novels on Blackberry. No problems at all (well, except for the fact that it was a lot of page turns). Not bashing e-readers at all, just saying IMO LCD screens aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be.

iPhone 4 vs. the smartphone elite: EVO 4G, N8, Pre Plus, and HD2

Jun 8th 2010 12:08PM (Engadget)
The hardware could be made by God, by if the OS sucks, it fails. The EVO hardware is awesome, but maaaan does Android suck. I'm not an iPhone fanboy or Pre fanboy or anything fanboy, but here's what I think:

Hardware: EVO>iPhone>Pre
OS: webOS>iPhone OS>Android (Sense UI or Not)

I'm not denying that is phone is awesome, but to make it fully awesome it should have webOS on it rather than Android.

Just saying.
