Sep 13th 2011 8:28AM (Joystiq)But, why? We all love gaming here, don't we all want all the platforms to succeed? Isn't it bad for the industry if a major console fails? Shouldn't we remain supportive and cautiously optimistic?
The 3DS is a weird thing, and Nintendo seems to be taking it in a weirder direction, but I would love for it to still be a viable platform in the future. Sure, the Vita seems to be coming out too late into a dying market, but wouldn't it be great if it did well? I hope that people buy these things and it stimulates creativity and competition among the platforms.
