for your information I only play games, and yes, some are sequels. I lean toward innovation, but mainly a game that is fun. I'm not pissing and complaining about ALL of the product that comes out, but rather that this is newsworthy. costs go up, profits go up. it's Econ101.

to me this post (which seems to be on a continuous cycle) is about the "poor video game industry" and how hard it is for them to keep up. I do not buy EA, Ubi, etc. anymore because I do not enjoy their games. I spend a lot of time playing a very few select games. I'm not the typical consumer / gamer... I understand and accept that. To me, the industry is the one pissing and complaining about costs, yet they continue to enjoy record profits. So really complaining about them complaining. get it?

wait... how much money is the video game industry making a year? Oh that's right, more than hollywood. I'm tired of hearing about how much an investment it is to make a shitty game. Like any other business venture, creating a video game is a risk. Here's hoping the industry changes its tune to quality over quantity soon.
