Sony Bravia S2000, V2000 720p HD lines continue expansion

Apr 11th 2006 9:38AM (Engadget)
Absolute beauty, pretty much unlike Sony stuff! Well, I think its now regular for Sony to launch products with steep prices, and then slash them, and release an even more brilliant variant at the same time. Marketing tricks?

Varibel glasses sport eight conversation-enhancing mics

Well, I don't think the manufactures took 'trendy-ness' that seriously. The design is mediocre, just like yet another Dell. Well, improvement on the design. Enhancement on the Audio Aids with Bluetooth-mobile compatibility and FM reciever would be ultra-cool. Atleast for now. Innovation, is what we need. Not daddy's old sneaks or grandpa's burmese teak walking stick!

Vista successfully installed on a Mac

Apr 10th 2006 7:27AM (Engadget)
Its simple... Mac's decided to encourage Windows Piracy, like there isn't already. Well, I guess Vista on Mac would be like an apple that could taste like orange or watermelon, on preferance with Boot Camp on. Pretty Sad.

iAlertU MacBook alarm software available in beta

Sounds pretty smart. But like griz said - what if the batteries are removed? But, I guess this is when we leave the book open to grab a coffee in like 20 yards away, some place like the airport. Must be in handy, there.

The Engadget store

Apr 9th 2006 2:09AM (Engadget)
The picture looks so real, don't think its PSed. Well, it could one of our Malay members or bloggers here. Well, I'd say if they do justice to the 'Engadget' name, won't it be like an unasked blessing and Engadget could have stores in real and Sue them, once they become big - which I hope wouldn't happen.

The STARRAY ferrets out IEDs

Apr 9th 2006 1:58AM (Engadget)
Bots like there are a real need in places like Afghanistan, where the percentage of people losing their lower limb due to landmine explotion is quite high. Most of them belonging to the early 20s, disabled for the rest of their life. Someday, hope Afghanis are well-off to afford expensive quipment like this and get rid off the abyss sleeping dormant and gets ignited once you step on it, which is wide spread over the landscapes. Really sad!
