It wasn't actually their first MK game, it was their first game as NetherRealm Studios as Boon pointed out via twitter.

@HardBoiled2009 The information for them is on the disk, but there's no saying that they will or won't be in the 360 version.

Honestly they don't hold up for me. I can't watch them now.

@Ericss It was awesome back when I watched it as a kid. Then again so were Voltron and Thundercats.
