Not to go science-nerd on you or anything, but helium is an inert gas not prone to explosions or flames. You're thinking hydrogen, the powerfully-lifting gas the Nazis thought was a good move. Incorrectly.
I agree. The last point I'll add to that is that Steam players seem to become *devoted* players of their game. I can easily see myself becoming a rabid Left4Dead player (oops - already have) and continuing to play frequently for months. And yes, I've noticed that there's only 8 "weapons". However, I find I take a different gun each time I come through depending on my team.
If they like running in and getting themselves killed: rifle or pistols for the accuracy at picking the undead off them like the remoras they are.
If they move more methodically like me, I stick with the SMG or assault rifle for damage at range and rate of fire. And style. Gotta have some flair.
Finally, the Counter Strike players... if my team just presses Jump-Crouch a hundred times, it's shotty-time. Gotta be ready for the inevitable horde when the Boomers and car alarms come...
Possibly no, but did you notice: 1. It's not "click to embiggen", but "click the monkey" 2. The soccer jersey at the end of the video says "Leipzig"...
Joystiq - Thanks for giving Kenta Cho some credit for his inspiration of Blast Works! : )
As far as I've been able to tell, most (if not all) of the press this game's been getting barely mention Kenta Cho (if at all). Even though he programs in the obscure D language, he still deserves more credit for this than he receives at times!
