Nov 20th 2007 10:02PM (Joystiq Nintendo)"Really frustrating with the controls from the wonky camera work"
You've got to be kidding? Actually you probably aren't.
The game camera is almost perfect. It's actually very, very clever. Plus, limiting the manual camera movement at certain areas is exactly what sets the play up. Making the player work at their control skills and forcing the player to pay attention to distances etc.
Simply being able move the camera into the perfect position everytime, behind Mario as you simply hold UP and run pefectly across a log isn't always what is needed.
Anyway....back on topic. Galaxy retails at £39.99 here in the UK - with most places actually selling it around the £32-33 mark.
And, like MP3:Corruption before it, I bought the game from tgrav.com - which had free UK shipping on both games for just £27.55.
Which I thought was pretty good.
Dojo update: Smart Bomb and Training Mode
Nov 20th 2007 4:34PM (Joystiq Nintendo)The Motion Sensor Mine and Invisibility Cloak have every chance of returning. Rare do not have copyright on such items. Just like Nintendo can't have copyright on a "Mushroom".
And "TOP SECRET" was just used in Melee because they couldn't mention the "Perfect Dark" series by name by that time.
Everybody point and laugh at the Vii
Nov 8th 2007 12:53PM (Joystiq Nintendo)Haha.
I think I was offered a free "Vii" console on the phone last week......although the guy selling the mobile phone package was Indian so he would say "Vii" when describing either console.....it may or may not have been "Vii" afterall.

Nov 4th 2007 12:13PM (Joystiq Nintendo)I think the gameplay looks equally as uninspiring.

Nintendo finds hard drive unnecessary
Oct 27th 2007 10:33PM (Joystiq Nintendo)It's all about quick access without copying things from Card to Internal storage and vise-versa.
I've got loads of SD card and while they are handy, they aren't the best solution for what Nintendo are trying to do.
Nintendo finds hard drive unnecessary
Oct 27th 2007 9:42PM (Joystiq Nintendo)I mean, we all pretty much would love the chance to buy a hard drive and link it up to our Wii for storage.
Eric Walter gives a throw-away argument there too. We are talking about 512MB internal storage here - and as someone else above has point out iPods have 10's and 10’s of gigs - no need to change songs around....just adding more and more.
Sure, we have the option of SD Flash Cards which do offer a few gig (as well as PC to Wii, Wii to PC movement of Data) but these flash cards have limited write.
Plus if Nintendo has any dreams of making the Wii a HUB for downloading their game demos, as well any other new content that may have larger file sizes, they need to at least allow us the option of a HDD.
I am a Nintendo fan all the way, they make great games and they always have changed the way we all play, paving the way for the future of console gaming.....
But my god they are shockingly stubborn!
