I love ridding my motorcycle on those roads. You should have listed that section on Mullholland where a guy takes pictures of your driving by, and you can buy prints from his website.

GM (sorta) denies seeking $5 billion direct loan from feds to stay afloat

Oct 13th 2008 1:03PM (Autoblog)
We gave the big three, 25 billion dollars in loans. Now GM wants another 5 billion dollars. How are they going to make good on these loans? Will I, as a tax payer see any ROIs?

Gas prices has always increased. Why didn't GM foresee this coming? Now we're giving the big three, 25 billion dollars in loans. How are they going to make good on this loan? Will I, as a tax payer see any ROIs? I never liked the big three because of how they've handled Tucker automobiles. I don't see how it's any different today, they're still in bed with big oil and politicians, spending their profits in bribes and lobbying, keeping our standards below Europe and Japan since the oil crisis of 1973, instead of spending their profits in designing and engineering better automobiles. Look at California, setting higher emissions and mpg requirements than federal requirements, and the auto industry is challenging California's regulations in federal courts, why? It's not because they can't make the car, it's because the oil refiners bribes the auto companies, to say it's unfair, it's too hard, and it will cost too much... well it looks like they have no choice now.
