This partnership contrasts the standard American automaker philosophy: own and build several different marquees at different price levels that compete against each other...
example: Lincoln Towncar, Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis. All of us could probably keep citing examples ad infinitum.
I would say we wonder how the big three have been in financial trouble...but none of us really do.
Hands down the best ever console FPS control scheme was for GoldenEye on the N64. Here's to Bungie creating a control scheme that mimics the original console FPS behemoth.
Both PS2 and Xbox(360 included) control sticks are significantly less accurate in my opinion. I can't flick the control stick on either of these like I could on the N64 with any accuracy.
The iTV was preannounced because MORE people will be willing to buy movies from the iTunes store NOW than if they thought there would be no way for them to view it on their nice home theater system easily in the future.
Really, all announcing this box now does is ensure a higher adoption rate of movies via the iTunes store.
We won't know the final specs until Q1 2007. I expect there will be another surprise or two for us all in the final iTV announcement then.
This is a list of America's best DRIVING roads. A great driving road is one where you're so focused on the DRIVE that you don't have time for the scenery. That's exactly what the Tail of the Dragon is. And there are some beautiful views from some of those turns... The police presence isn't too oppressive either.
Elderly drivers should have to retake the driving test EVERY YEAR. At advanced ages, human beings can deteriorate at rapid paces. To pretend that it isn't possible for an elderly person to lose his or her ability to control and react to modern driving conditions in less than a year is ABSURD.
The simple truth is that elderly drivers ON AVERAGE not only routinely endanger the lives of other motorists through non-customary driving habits (like 50mph in the "faster" lanes, slowing to almost a full stop prior to making turns off busy streets -- actions which cause other drivers to make poor driving decisions such as passing in the "slower" lanes, swerving, etc.) they have no concept of other drivers. They don't care that there creating a mile-long line of traffic behind them. Why? Because they can't drive any other way safely.
Unfortunately, there really isn't any other option for most elderly people. How will they get around without their cars? Are the children and grandchildren supposed to shuttle them around? It isn't exactly safe for them to ride the bus or subway in some major cities these days, nor is paying a taxi for a ride multiple times per day economical.
Perhaps we should force young drivers with learning permits to use their elders as their supervisors instead of their parents? Perhaps there should be an entirely separate set of roads intended only for elderly drivers.
Whatever the solution, GET ELDERLY DRIVERS WHO HONESTLY SHOULD NOT BE BEHIND THE WHEEL OFF THE ROAD.
I hope that I'm at least capable of realizing that I'm not competent enough to get behind the wheel when I reach that age...
Clearly sarcasm is not your forte. I suppose you were horrified to read Thomas Swift's "A Modest Proposal". I feel sorry for you that you cannot enjoy true humor.
Leave the rear diffuser black. Firstly, one's eyes are drawn to red first. In my eyes, there is a huge difference between the rear diffuser on the Novitec versus that of the stock 430.
This is the ugly, red-headed stepchild of Enzo Ferrari. You know, it's kind of yours, but so damn ugly that you get so angry with it to the point where you pray that it screws up so you can beat the hell out of it...why couldn't Stefan Erickson (sp?) have destroyed one of these instead of an Enzo...
As has been mentioned earlier, I can understand the braking, engine upgrades (though I don't necessarily agree that it needs them - there's no way this thing needs a suspension upgrade) but who the hell are they to fcuk with Pininfarina's design?

Novitec Rosso's twin-supercharger Ferrari F430

Evidence of the original:

See how it DISAPPEARS.
The wing is ugly. The front end is okay, but that's probably because it doesn't depart very far from the original.
WHY IT'S RICE: LOOK AT THE TAIL LIGHTS. Those clear covers have to add at least 10HP. Right? U-G-L-Y. The rear end is so off it's laughable.
Again, these are my opinions.
