Double Fine Kickstarter passes $1 million in under 24 hours, breaking yet another record
Feb 9th 2012 7:26PM (Joystiq)That's what I was thinking. They should throw in both games for everyone who pitched in 30 dollars.
Double Fine returning to its adventure game roots with Kickstarter project [update: Funded!]
Feb 8th 2012 9:39PM (Joystiq)My only concern is how much Kickstarter might take; usually results in setting a higher goal to offset the costs of paying the Kickstarter fees. It would be nicer to see them do this independently; although, Double Fine's being pretty generous- . $15 for the beta and game itself? That's a deal.
I hope this succeeds; pretty confident it will.

Japanese hardware sales, January 23 - 29: Crystal ball edition
Feb 6th 2012 12:21AM (Joystiq)Yeah, good to see 3DS picking up. Hopefully the Vita does well too; at least sales went up, so we know people are still interested.
You should get The Cat That Got The Milk
Feb 5th 2012 10:11PM (Joystiq)It's free though. So, I don't think we have a right to complain about download speeds. Looks like a cool game otherwise.
Weekly Webcomic Wrapup is giving you some serious advice
Feb 5th 2012 4:02AM (Joystiq)On top of that, it's not like anything interesting has been released. I mean, the next biggest release is ME3 (I think).

NMA TV's breakdown of Nintendo's financial situation is as zany as you'd expect
Jan 28th 2012 5:08PM (Joystiq)I don't think anyone should step out. Console gaming is profitable and extremely entertaining for the user. Why on Earth would you guys want to reduce competition and choice?
Makes no sense.
Also, this report seems fairly biased against Nintendo- calling mobile gaming the "trend" and claiming Nintendo's stuck in the past. Nintendo is the most innovative of the big 3. And I don't think mobile gaming will ever overtake the dedicated portable gaming system market. I think they can co-exist just fine.
The Vita could have been thinner, or huge, or a clamshell
Jan 28th 2012 1:30AM (Joystiq)Oh, for sure. But if the Vita really takes off I might purchase sooner rather than later. Just depends what Sony does for it.
