Piano intro to Mad World during the GOW ad campaign. It ruined the song via overplay on the tubes... :( It still is an okay song, though.

Eidos's programming team has always been top notch. Every single Hitman game has had 0 load time, tons of characters on screen, and advanced physics and graphics engines.

Good programming/porting = good engine
Lazy programming/porting = bad engine

I have a few, as a shadow priest. They all involve my own deaths...

1) Curator - shadow word: death'd myself
2) Heroic Steamvaults Warlord Kali-whatever- I pulled aggro, so I faded and waited to resume dps. I survived the hit but the tank wasn't geared so the healer just kept healing the tank. Trinket + Inner Focus + Mind Blast + Shadow Word: Death. Only after I died did I see the "spell reflect" buff on the boss.
3) Prince Malchazzar - Shadow Word: Death'd myself during an Enfeeble
4) Netherspite: Standing in the blue beam, and Vampiric Embracing to stay alive quite easily...and then not moving when a void zone appeared below me and dying.

There's more but I can't remember them.

Sounds like another age 18-35 shovelware.

Where's the innovation? This is 2008. Stop making FPS's.

The problem is that some of us can't afford all three systems/peripherals/games. It's a lavish lifestyle to be a proud owner and user of all three systems.

Instead, I have to make the choice: which one to buy. I looked at the positives and negatives of all of them. The Wii was an instant purchase. I am a designer, and the level of innovation, chic, and the entire "package" appealed to me.

Then, I had to make a choice - buy a system for Rock Band. I could have gone with the PS3, the PS2, or the x360.

I had to consider the price, games, controller comfort, availability, and features. I ended up buying an x360.

I feel that I got burned by the purchase, even though Rock Band was fun for a few weeks. The reason I feel burned?

The Microsoft and Sony machines don't make me feel comfortable. They're towering behemoths, with blahblah shaders and x x x x processors and blockbuster exclusives like "BLLH BLAH" and "METAL BLAH BLAG". But the communities are harsh. They're always defensive. The systems are always trying to prove one another.

This "TOP 10 List" and the replies make me feel like I'd have been burned again if I had bought the PS3 instead! So either way, I got burned.

For me, the Nintendo guys don't care about how many Gamecube-ii's they sell. They don't mind that there aren't 8 dedicated pipelines on the graphics whatever. They are actually creating games that don't appeal to 35-year-olds nor 18-year-olds. They're not trying to make a media center.

But, this is all from a person who bought and loved the Genesis and the Dreamcast. But I also loved MGS and FF7. And out of all of these systems, my n64 got the most playtime...
